Discover the magic of Nail Art Design with Foil It On

It is so much fun to add a Nail Art Design to your artificial nail. It may look difficult, but it is actually super simple. There are plenty of foils you can use to make this possible. You can apply pieces to the adhesive layer of gels and gel paints, but a full design is not possible. That's where Foil It On comes in.


What is Foil It On foil adhesive?

Foil It On is a gel glue that leaves an adhesive layer after curing. This adhesive layer ensures that your foil stays in place and that there is still a connection to the gel layers you apply on top of the foil to protect it. When using regular glue, this connection is absent, which can result in peeling of the foil, despite the use of gel layers on top of the nail art.

How do you use Foil It On?

So how do you get a full Nail Art Foil on a nail? Watch the videos explaining step by step how to apply the full foil to the nail.

  1. Apply a thin layer of Foil It On to your artificial nail product. Brush off the brush to the bottle and stroke over the nail a few times, removing all excess glue and leaving a wafer-thin layer.
  2. Place the nails in the lamp and harden for 60 seconds in the So Fast Wave Digital Pink.
  3. Place the foil and press into the centre of the nail first, moving to the sides and then to the free edge. Rub everything well! You can use the So Silicone Magic Chrome for this to more easily rub well into each edge.
  4. Carefully remove the foil. Push back on if a piece is missing.
  5. Apply a layer of Rubberbase / BIAB or building gel. Make sure to cover the entire layer and harden.
  6. Apply your Top Coat.

Tip : It is important to pay attention to the curing time of Foil It On. If you are working with a So Fast Wave Digital Pink lamp, the curing time is 60 seconds with the High Power button. If you have another LED or Dual Wave lamp, test what time is right for you on a tip. That way you can be sure of the right result.
